Some may say it's just a building, but we see . . .

History

It seems to us that there is too much tearing down and rebuilding in this town.  Our goal is to preserve a little history through this much loved building. Want to learn more about its history?  Click here to read about our history . . .

Gatherings

Picture
We've dubbed the building as Stillwater's Historic Gathering Place.  We like that because that's what the building has been for so many generations.  Most Stillwater Residents have been here often for concerts, recitals, receptions, dances, and of course, classes.  Everyday the building seems to be buzzing with activity. Projects

How do you take an old building and make it usable again?  You pull up your sleeves and get to work.  That's what we've been doing for years.  The SCC Foundation and Friends have worked to tackle the areas where improvements will be most effective.  Click here to see our Projects.

Programs

Whether its the Classic Cinema at the Center or any number of music festivals, concerts, theatrical presentations, the SCC Foundation strives to make sure there is a reason to come.  These are programs and events that we sponsor for our growing multitude of patrons.  For more on these sponsored programs, click here.

Potential

This old building has enormous potential--but along with that come some challenges. One of our biggest challenges is making the building more accessible. Once those challenges are behind us, the building's potential to be an indispensable part of Stillwater's future is secure.  Click here to explore how we are making accessibility to this building a reality.
